Re: Mr. Don Klassen of RE/MAX Crest Real Estate
In July of this year we asked Don Klassen to meet with us with the intention of listing our house in North Vancouver. We wanted an experienced realtor who would inform us of the market trends and at the same time energetically pursue the selling of our house. Don not only came to our initial meeting fully prepared with statistics on the current market and his honest opinions on pricing, but was also helpful in giving us tips on preparing the house for showing.
As time went by and open houses were scheduled, agent showings, and individual viewing, we became very impressed by Don's professionalism. Most importantly he did what he said he was going to do. He was very punctual, always courteous, and kept us supplied with current market information. We never at anytime felt Don's determination to sell our house declining. He then successfully and efficiently put together a deal that was most satisfactory to us.
As we lived in Nelson at the time of the sale, Don took in hand to look after the empty house. This took some effort on Don's part in running around with keys for heating contractors, having an old oil tank filled with sand, several other maintenance concerns and at the same time keeping us abreast of the situation. This was an excellent example of after sales service above and beyond the usual.
In our estimation, and I personally having been in sales all my working life, Don exemplifies what people who are selling their home would want, and indeed require in real estate sales. He is a credit to the real estate profession, and we would recommend Don to anyone not satisfied with a mediocre effort on the part of their agent.
