The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reports that sales of detached, attached and apartment properties, for the month of January showed an increase of 152.4% in comparison to January 2009.

Year over year, sales of detached properties increased 141.4% in January. The benchmark price increased 19.5% from the same month last year.

Sales of attached properties increased 200% in comparison to January 2009. The benchmark price is up 13.4% from one year ago.

Sales of apartments increased 146.8% in January 2009. The Benchmark price showed an increase of 15.2% in comparison to January last year.
